Garoua International is the regional airport for northern Cameroon, sitting roughly 5 km southwest of Garoua city in the Benue River valley. Designed originally for wide-body operations, it now mainly hosts domestic links to Yaoundé and Douala on Camair-Co, plus seasonal regional services. It serves as the main air access point for the surrounding North Region and nearby national parks.
